- Fresh typing of new documents in any template or software package, as instructed, either in client style or Linklaters house style.
- Amending existing documents in line with amended drafts supplied.
- Converting documents from one software package to another and re-tagging in templates as required.
- Undertaking additional duties as required, such as co-ordinating the workflow when this cannot be undertaken by the TL or DTL.
- Keeping Team Leader informed of any problems arising which may require a change to deadlines.
- Providing a flexible service to meet the changing business requirements of the practice by providing assistance to other members of the Document Processing Unit or to Service Desk, Examiners and the practice.
- To ensure that a high level of technical ability and knowledge is maintained and undergo training whenever necessary.
- Actively promote the services of Document Processing Unit to the practice. Suggest new and innovative approaches to work, including the use of new technology.
- Providing software advice and support to members of the practice when required.
- Undertaking additional duties as required
- Inform Team Leader of any issues with the job if not able to resolve within 15 minutes
