Reporting to the Head of Connected Devices, the candidate would need to possess a sound knowledge of the Smart Metering Technical Specifications. The candidate should also have strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate their capability of analysing proposed modifications and translating them into tangible, successful solutions. Specific responsibilities include:
Working closely with the SECAS team, to maintain the GB-SMIP Technical Specifications;
Analysis of SEC Modification proposals and impacts.
Working with stakeholders to respond to proposed changes to the Industry specifications.
Working with external parties including device manufacturers, telecom, utility companies, retailers and test houses to understand constraints to deliver tangible, cohesive client solutions;
Working closely with the Gemserv Consultancy and Business Development teams supporting wider propositions in the smart metering space
