This from my 71 year old dad after listening to the radio and grumbling about some guy singer he'd heard and Little Mix. He says they all "wail" and you can't tell the singers apart because they all sound the same.
He whinged about Ride on Healthcare Services Video Time back in the day, buIt is because they have no talent and want instant fame. They 'sing' from the chest rather than the diaphragm. Also singing of key is tolerated and edited out electronically. The amount of singers screaming and wailing off key in these TV 'talent' shows has to be seen to be believed. Learn your craft first, then go on the telly!
