Less venerable and more modern, this grand theater presents both new plays and old classics, but even the classics usually get a modern twist. There are Brand Storytelling Video Marketing lots of cutting edge, contemporary pieces here, including several from other European countries (hence the moniker “Théâtre de l’Europe”). Foreign productions are supertitled, which can be a plus if you can read French. The Odéon’s second space, Ateliers Berthier (1 rue André Suarès, 17th arrond.; Métro: Porte de Clichy) presents smaller scale productions, as well as theater for young actors.
