I heard of this expression only recently, and I realized that I am quickly becoming a serial bingeing addict.
For those unfamiliar with the term, serial bingeing refers to the practice of streaming a number of episodes of certain television shows all at once. Often the binger will keep on watching until he/she has seen an entire series, which in the case of a mini-series, could only take a few evenings. For other shows, the practice could go on indefinitely.
Since I purchased my Roku 3, I have discovered a number of shows which I access, usually on Netflix or Amazon Prime, which have no commercials. Since I never had some of the channels that are now streamed, I have discovered a bonanza of older shows, which were absolutely wonderful.
I lavished for a couple of weeks watching "24". I watched both the British and American version of "House of Cards", back to back. (I liked the British one better). Glenn Close was magnificent in "Damages". I thought that I was finished with that show, when Netflix added another season. I was in hog heaven.
Of course, I am thrilled to watch (I know that I have seen them before, but I will probably never tire of them) episodes of the three flavors of "Law & Order".
