The Elder Scrolls Online is heading to Sotha Sil's Clockwork City for any ten-hour expansion, due out on October 23. According to the TESO internet site, the pack adds a standalone story "similar in size for the major quest lines discovered inside the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild DLC". The update appears to otherwise be largely set within the mechanical clockwork city, built around a hub region referred to as the brass fortress.
The DLC operates alongside the upcoming update 16 to add a new transmutation method which you can use to alter traits in your gear. The transmutation vendor will probably be based in the heart of your brass fortress.
Update 16 will make plenty of other modifications. Along with balance updates and bug fixes the update also adds a brand new battlegrounds mode known as Crazy King - a one-point capture mode in which the point randomly shifts mid-battle.
A prologue quest is now live in TESO. Here's how you get ESO Gold: "Players can travel to any neighborhood Mages Guild headquarters in Tamriel to locate a note on a table titled “Order from the Eye Dispatch." Reading the note will give the quest “Of Knives and Lengthy Shadows," and send players on their new adventure."
