Are Microtransactions On Their Way To OSRS
Of course, there are many reasons for this, but the cosmetic items could lead to things that actually help you win more battles which would not go down well in the Old School Runescape community at all. We get that Microtransactions, especially cosmetic items are a way for developers to make money.
Jagex though has said that they do not plan on bringing in Microtransactions to Old School Runescape and to be honest with you with the huge backlash around Microtransactions thanks to Star Wars Battlefront II, we would be very surprised if, even if they did plan on introducing Microtransactions that they would do it now.
