Different from standard warhammers, the granite hammer has an attack speed of 4, which matches the speed of some commonly used melee weapons such as scimitars and abyssal whip. Its attack speed results in more damage over time. Thus, the granite hammer falls roughly between the rune scimitar and dragon scimitar in terms of overall power.
In comparison to the leaf-bladed sword, the granite hammer has a greater strength bonus and a special attack but slightly poorer accuracy. OSRS granite hammer is more difficult to obtain than the leaf-bladed sword.
Details of OSRS granite hammer special attack
The granite hammer has a special attack: Hammer Blow. This special attack consumes 60% of the player’s special attack energy, and deals an attack with 50% increased accuracy with 5 additional damage guaranteeing. Therefore, the target will take a minimum of 5 damage from the attack event if the special attack misses. This excludes NPCs who are immune to normal forms of attack, such as vyrewatch and slayer monsters when the player does not reach the Slayer level to attack.
Items which have been fully upgraded can be taken to the artisan's workshop in Falador and given to the dwarves in a special burial ceremony. This ceremony destroys the item but gives the fastest smithing XP per hour. We've added regular anvils to the artisan's workshop and it's also the best place now to do regular smithing. You'll earn respect points for all smithing done in the Artisans workshop, and there are group buffs you can share.

Masterwork armour can be made with just the mining and smithing skills, so it's a great way for Ironmen and non-bossers to get hold of endgame armour. A full set of masterwork takes 600 bars of each core metal to make, so you'd better get saving.
Smithed items can now be upgraded, which makes them better in combat and also gives faster XP than just making the base items.
