The Upper Blackrock Spire has lots of great pre-raid gear for every class. There are many bosses and some rare bosses here. In addition, the Final Boss of UBRS is a requirement for the Onyxia Attunement. That means, that at least one player in every guild needs to buy wow classic gold and do both the UBRS Key Quest and the Onyxia Attunement. To make your journey easier, I will include the Dungeon Map from the Atlas Addon here, in case you don’t have it:
How to complete the UBRS Key Quest
1.Obtain an “Unadorned Seal of Ascension” from any trash in LBRS or the Orcs outside of the Dungeon.
2.Talk to Vaelan inside LBRS. At the start of the Dungeon, take the 2nd door right, then the first left. After some trash, there is a small incline on the left. Vaelan is up there, overlooking the area. If you have your “Unadorned Seal of Ascension”, he will give you the quest “Seal of Ascension”
3.Obtain the Gemstone required for the quest from the three main bosses in LBRS: War Master Voone, Highlord Omokk, and Overlord Wyrmthalak. These are not guaranteed drops, and these are the same bosses required for a part of the Onyxia attunement quest for the Horde. So you might be able to feed two birds with one scone
4.Return to Vaelan in LBRS and turn in your hard earned Gemstones. He will give you the second part of the “Seal of Ascension” quest chain, as well as a container, with “Orb of Draconic Energy” and “Unforged Seal of Ascension”.
5.Get a couple of friends and head to Emberstrife’s Den in Dustwallow Marsh. Once there, use the Orb on Emberstrife and cast his ability “Flames of the Black Flight” on the Unforged Seal. To do this, Emberstrife needs to be below 10% Health. It is advised to place the seal before starting the fight, and tank him with the Seal in front of him.
6.Once done, return to Vaelan in LBRS and turn in the quest. He will reward you with the “Seal of Ascension”
