Why you want to raid BWL?Once you have completed the Blackwing Lair attunement quest, you can enter the raid. Some of the loot from this raid includes wow classic gold for sale and the Tier 2 sets for every classes, except for the Pants and Helmet, which drop from Ragnaros and Onyxia, respectively.
In addition to the Tier 2 raid sets, there are also some great weapons and trinkets here, so you don’t want to miss it!
How to prepare for Phase 3 and the Blackwing Lair
While flasks and consumables were not widely used in the Molten Core and Onyxia raids, this will not be the case in BWL. Many more people will use consumables to progress deeper into the Blackwing Lair. This will make the prices for flask & potion rise, as well as their reagents.
The best thing you can do is to stockpile a lot of those reagents and don’t sell them yet. Then you can sell them when Phase 3 and BWL is out for much better prices. A good example for this is Black Lotus, since it is needed for flasks, which will be used a lot more in BWL.
How to complete the BWL attunement quests
When you enter the Backrock Mountain from the northern side, the Searing Gorge, you will see a chain on the left side, leading to a rocky island in the middle.
Get on this chain, but walk towards the left, up the chain. Jump onto the balkony, where the entrance to UBRS is. To the right, there is a small corridor with some mobs.
Now, in this area, find an elite mob called “Scarshield Quartermaster”. Once he is dead, loot the letter from him, which starts the quest “Blackhand’s Command”.
Now, as the last step, you need to kill “General Drakkisath” in UBRS and touch the orb behind him once he is dead.
