Through BlizzCon in November 2019, Blizzard is about to release the eighth expansion pack for World of Warcraft in 2020, Shadowlands, following Battle for Azeroth, as of now, it has not any fixed release date due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Blizzard plans to bring controller to World of Warcraft Shadowlands to make the game easier, so that those with disabilities, and looking to play WOW without keyboard and mouse can play with these function to their favorite input device.
This provides more access to WOW through adding some support for keybinds, camera and turning a character on controllers such as the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
For a long time, World of Warcraft has maintained the use of keyboard and mouse, which is indeed a breakthrough to add the controller as additional functions. According to Jordan, Blizzard finally decided it was time to add the first-party controller support, rather than making players download add-ons thanks to the popularity of third-party controller solutions.
