So, why are GAME and Grainger Games charging at least a 10% higher price than everywhere else? I predict that their marketing and public relations experts would claim that dedicated retailers supply a face to speak to when choosing your game. My argument back to that is, if you’re already online buying a game, there is a multitude utfifas of reviews, review videos, game previews, interviews, etc. that can furnish the most casual gamer to the most hardcore gamer regarding their prospective purchase of a game. It seems GAME staff have only one aim, to sell you as many season passes as possible.
Just on two games alone, that’s a saving of £21.99. This money can now be used to fund my hobby further and will likely go towards indie/smaller publisher games, one of which will definitely be Transistor.
GAME to me is anti-gamer, it has to be. The above speaks for itself. By not shopping at GAME for Grand Theft Auto V and Far Cry 4 I saved myself money of which I can buy more games. Loyalty schemes/cards add to the mix a sense of ‘getting a www.utfifas.co good deal’, however this is a false economy as the reward points you receive from buying an inflated priced game is not covered by the reimbursement of funds via the loyalty scheme.
