Nartial, 19, has hit the ground running in the infancy of his United career, netting three goals in as many Premier League games. The deal, which cost an initial £36 million, makes him the most expensive teenager in history, with the fee set to rise depending on goals, international caps and whether he wins the Ballon d’Or, according to the Independent.
The hefty price tag brought with it natural pressures, but Martial has dealt with everything brilliantly. A fantastic debut goal against Liverpool was followed up with a brace in the victory at Southampton.
Neville, now a Sky pundit after leaving United in 2011, says the Frenchman has changed the system in which the team plays.
“He’s made a big difference,” Neville said.
“He’s transformed the front end of the team. When he signed we knew he was going to be an exciting signing but we didn’t think he would settle in so quickly.
