I was hoping the 7770 would provide a little more umph. I'm running a 460GTX SLI setup, and hoped that ATI. Er AMD's mid range bracket in Crossfire would provide a significant boost, worthy of an upgrade. I would have liked to have heard and would still like hear a run through by him about the evolution of EverQuest from its roots to today. He wants to get back to the old school days of 1999, dispensing with the new crap. (For me, crap is pretty much defined as after Ruins of Kunark, which was the only truly all good MMO expansion ever, in my rose tinted view of the world.) But EverQuest didn change and evolve in a vacuum.
The auto target system mixed with the odd camera make this combat system to be one of the worst I have played. You seamlessly jump around from enemy to enemy not doing much damage so everyone is still alive. Because you cannot focus on enemies easily fights take much longer than they should.
And this kind of mentality exists in all kinds of people and all kinds of jobs. Yesterday I had to listen to a privileged white man tell me all about how it was definitely Mike Brown on that tape and he deserved to die over a box of cigars and how I don't know anything about how "those people" are because he's lived with them and how he never gets in trouble with the cops but it's because he doesn't pick fights with them. _.
