Completion of the Gauntlet will grant you access to a new loot table. Failing to finish, either by death or leaving early, will give a small token reward based upon how well you performed but won't grant any chance of a unique. The Gauntlet is a dangerous minigame so death will result in the loss of a Hardcore Ironman status.
As you can’t take any items into the Gauntlet, a chest will be found outside for you to temporarily store your items in whilst you are in the minigame. Your items will only be stored here while you are in the Gauntlet so it can’t be used as extra storage.
Introduction of the Incense Burners
The new Incense Burners have 18 new potion-like incense sticks made with Firemaking skill, which can combine with logs, herbs and impious, accursed or infernal ashes to create different effects that last for 30 minutes when burnt. With different number of sticks, the strength of effects change (see the following table).

Spirit Restores the special attack energy of your familiar
Irit -25% damage received from poison per level of potency
Wergali Provides XP, + 0.5% chance to auto string bows and attach feathers to arrow shafts when fletching logs per level of potency.
Avantoe +5% chance to auto add bait when placing hunter trap per level of potency
Kwuarm +2.5% damage to weapon poison effects per level of potency
Bloodweed +2.5% chance getting +1 log when cutting bloodwood trees
Snapdragon Quicker stats recovery
Cadantine Reduced chance of depleting a resource when you gather from it
Lantadyme Increased duration of potions you drink
Dwarf Chance to bank items gathered or dropped from monsters
Torstol Increased XP whilst training
Fellstalk Increased chance for an elite monster to spawn
